Hysteroscopy and Hysteroscopic surgery Training
with Dr. Umezulike A.C
Endoscopic training for the Gynaecologist in two parts. One is laparoscopic training, and the other is hysteroscopic training.
The laparoscopy has to do with the abdominal cavity, while the hysteroscope has to do with the uterine (or womb) cavity.
The gold standard for uterine lesion diagnosis is the hysteroscope. Operative procedure can also be done through the hysteroscope, and that is hysteroscopy surgery.
